About the region

Herzliya Pituach

Herzliya Pituach is a mere 10-minute drive north from Tel Aviv. It is situated on the seafront of one of Israel’s most beautiful beaches, playing host to five-star hotels, diplomatic residences, the homes of wealthy Israelis and a cosmopolitan mix of foreign residents. In recent years, the development of a rapidly expanding hi-tech park, the largest marina in the Middle East and a wide variety of entertainment options have been attracting many foreign and Israeli tourists to the area.

Considered one of the most prestigious residential areas in Israel, Herzliya Pituach has some 3,200 households. On Galei Tchelet Street, situated high on a cliff overlooking the sea, are the most expensive houses in the country, including the residence of the U.S. ambassador. Many business leaders, foreign residents and diplomats reside in Herzliya Pituach.

Kfar Shmaryahu

Situated between the coastal highway to the west, the train rail to the east and Herzliya Bet to the south, Kfar Shmaryahu is home to approximately 1,000 families and is one of Israel’s most prestigious areas. Originally a farming village, over time Kfar Shmaryahu has evolved into a more residential community with a rural charm. Most lots are between 1 – 1.5 dunams in size but due to Kfar Shmaryahu’s agricultural roots, one can also find larger lots,  3 – 7 dunams in size, a rare luxury in Israel.

Kfar Shmaryahu is characterized by spacious villas and large tracts of land interspersed by a large park that runs through the center of the village. There is an active cultural center that hosts many performances from Tel Aviv, as well as a community center and sports club with a community swimming pool. Kfar Shmariyahu attracts many upscale residents who appreciate its peaceful, well-maintained, country atmosphere.

Herzliya Bet

Herzliya Bet is located between the coastal highway to the west and the beautiful new Herzliya Park to the east. Situated at the entrance to two major highways, it is easy to reach, and has an Israel Railways station. Herzliya Bet is connected via two pedestrian bridges to Herzliya Pituach and its active Industrial Zone, and is also very close to the beach.

Unlike Kfar Shmaryahu and Herzliya Pituach, Herzliya Bet has a range of housing options, with a wide selection of properties, from apartments and garden apartments to cottages and private houses on lots starting from 250 square meters in size. In recent years, Herzliya Bet has undergone significant change, attracting a younger population due to the massive building permits for approximately 200 new housing units, mostly private homes. In the near future, the train tracks will be distanced from the residential areas of Herzliya Bet.

Marina Herzliya

The Herzliya Marina is the largest marina in the Middle East, with a large yacht harbor of about 800 berths. The Marina is located on the south side of Herzliya and boasts a beautiful promenade, a variety of restaurants and cafes and the elegant Arena shopping mall, all of which contribute to the resort atmosphere. In addition, the Marina has sailing schools offering sport training, and a busy shipyard.

In the Marina one can find prestigious residential projects with breathtaking views of the Marina and the Mediterranean. Currently there are five projects in the marina: the Island, Okeanos Marina, Marina Village, Marina Towers and the Laguna. Two more projects that are under construction combine holiday apartments and hotels: the prestigious Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Blue Marine Project, managed by the Canada-Israel group.

Of some 800 apartments in the Marina, approximately 250 are exempt from rental obligation. In the Marina, apartments range between two to five rooms in size, including garden apartments and penthouses, some of which can be rented for long or short term.

Nof Yam

Nof Yam is a modest neighborhood located north of Herzliya Pituach, on the seafront, which has undergone an amazing transformation in recent years. Many of the original one-story, humble homes have been converted into beautiful residential villas. The original commercial center for locals was recently renovated and today is a bustling assortment of quaint shops and small restaurants that attract many of the local residents. Nof Yam has maintained its charming atmosphere of quiet, tree-lined, safe streets, and continues to attract young couples to the area. It has an active community center and a local elementary school

Industrial Zone

The Herzliya Pituach Industrial Zone sits to the west of Highway 2 and the Ayalon Highway and is adjacent to the prestigious Herzliya Pituach residential neighborhood. The Industrial Zone, which spans an area of 649 dunams, has undergone a massive change from a heavy industry zone to a commercial, high-tech and recreation area. Until the early 1980s, the Industrial Zone was a home for heavy industry, including iron, plastic, cement and printing. However, two major Israeli companies, Digital and Scitex, considered the flagships of the Israeli high-tech industry, searched for a cheaper alternative to Tel Aviv and pioneered the trend of moving to the Industrial Zone.

These companies, for which tens of thousands of square meters of office space were constructed, were the precursors of an accelerated process that continues to this very day, where heavy industry plants are closing to make way for the construction of modern office and commercial buildings. Recognizing the tremendous potential of the Industrial Zone, the Herzliya municipality worked for the approval of a new city zoning plan that was authorized in 1998. The plan allows only businesses that are free of ecological hazards to operate in the Zone, increases building percentage in the zone, and arranges suitable transportation arteries and parking facilities for the increase in the Park’s vehicular traffic.

Herzliya Pituach is currently considered the capital of Israel’s high-tech industry, hosting over 1,500 companies that occupy 800,000 m² of office space and employ some 35,000 workers.

Aside from the high-tech industry, the Zone has acquired a reputation for good food. Some 250 restaurants, cafés and bars operate in the Zone, open day and night, constituting a culinary center that attracts visitors from all of central Israel. Likewise, prestigious showrooms of most of Israel’s auto importers are located in the Zone.

Arsuf

Arsuf is a an upper class community and has become one of the most expensive and luxurious community in Israel. It has one of the most beautiful views in Israel.

Arsuf is located 7 km north to Herzliya Pituach and west to kibbutz Shefayim, in close proximity to the sea on a high cliff of 35 m above the sea.

Arsuf sprawlds on a lot of 250 dunam, private ground and eventually will reside 100 families in private houses on lots of 700 m to 1400 m. Most of the residents of this community have independant proffessions.

Moshavim

The agricultural settlements ("moshavim") in our franchise's area are Bnei Tzion, Kfar Netter, Batzra, Beit Yehoshua and Udim..

The moshavim are rural communities, largely agricultural, publicly owned lands with good sized lots attached to the house..

These communities are characterized by an intimate atmosphere, personalized education and mainly private homes with gardens..

In the moshavim, there are large farms of 25 dunams total (25,000 sq.mtrs.), with three - ten dunams (3000 – 10,000 sq.mtrs.) directly adjacent to the house, as well as areas of new development with lots of 500 square meters. The moshavim are attractive because of their close proximity to the center of the country with excellent transportation nearby.

Rishpon

Rishpon is a rural moshav characterized by a tight-knit, cooperative atmosphere. Many of its residents are still farmers. A new neighborhood with of half-dunam lots has been attracting a population of young, quality people who wish to remain in the center while enjoying an exclusive country atmosphere.
The moshav contains some 100 farms in addition to 100 units in the new neighborhood. Residents enjoy top-quality education at a school shared with Kfar Shmaryahu. Properties at Rishpon can be as large as 25 dunams in size, of which three to ten dunams are adjacent to the houses, and the rest is farmland.
