About us
This office serves the rural community of Tsur Hadassah which currently has a population of ~13,000 as well as the moshavim: Ness Harim, Bar Giora, Mattah, and Mevo Beitar - in total ~ 3,000 homes. These communities are governed by the Mateh Yehuda council.
Tsur Hadassah and the above mentioned Moshavim are 10 kilometers South west of Jerusalem and 10 kilometers East of Beit Shemesh in the heart of the Jerusalem Hills, within the “Green Line”, at an altitude of ~ 700 meters above sea level. This hilly area is covered with natural forests and gorgeous nature preserves. Access roads to the area offer breathtaking views and are considered to be the most enjoyable for driving and bicycle riding in Israel.
The shorter and faster way from Tsur Hadassah to Jerusalem is by the "Tunnels road" which is only a 15 minute drive. An additional way is through Ein Kerem and Mt. Herzel. Most of the residents of the area work in Jerusalem and the surrounding areas. Many of the residents are affiliated with the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Campus: doctors, medical staff, administrators and/or researchers. Others work in the center of the country, (Tel Aviv and “Gush Dan”) or in the South, using the new #6 or #1 highways without having to go through Jerusalem.
Tsur Hadassah is the central community in the area, and provides services such as pre-schools, schools, synagogues, commercial centers, health clinics, and a center for after-school activities and lessons for all ages.
Tsur Hadassah has a very active real estate market- sales, purchases, and rentals of apartments, houses, and plots of land. In the surrounding moshavim real estate includes: agricultural lands, villas, and plots of land to build upon.
